They say time heals, but I wasn’t patient enough to wait. My heart was broken and every day seemed like a living hell. Using ‘heal your broken heart’, I definitely went through the grieving stages, but I was more confident. At first, when my ex-wife left me (after having an affair for three years), I just couldn’t handle the misery. I just couldn’t believe this was my new reality. Nothing had prepared me for this; her departure left me shocked and bewildered. I went to therapy, and my therapist introduced me to this recording. I am so grateful she did, and happier that I was open to try it even though I did not know much about meditating and listening to subliminal affirmations. Two weeks went by, and my grieving became less sharp. I felt more grounded.
