Finding Clarity – What Is Your True Path

Find clarity
As you are finding clarity in your life, particularly in areas that are important to you, you feel far surer of yourself. But what is clarity?

Clarity is knowing what you want. Mental clarity helps you establish strategies to get from where you are to where you want to be.

Even if you’re far from your goals, when you gain clarity, time isn’t a factor at all. Because you just know you’re going to get there sooner or later.

But how can you go about finding clarity when you have none? When you’re lost, chasing your own tail, unsure of where to go, watching life slip between your fingers?

Before you even notice, you’re celebrating yet another birthday, and the last decade has passed before you even blinked.

Here are a few tools that helped me in finding clarity 10 years ago, when I felt just like you’re feeling now: standing in the same spot, stuck and frustrated. All my life, I felt I was at a crossroads and never dared to choose a path.

My choice back then was not to choose. And if there’s anything that can get you down and crush your self-belief, it’s the choice to sit on the fence and watch your life pass by without participating.

Focus On Your Blessings To Find Clarity

I am not talking just about the practical things that look good on paper but leave your soul empty.

Everyone has something they truly love doing. But it’s not enough that you have passion for it, you also need to be good at it. Loving it will motivate you to get better and better at this until you reach an expert level.

So go ahead and get clear about what is it that you are naturally gifted at? Write it down if that will help you get a clearer answer.

Now, I know that you probably have a job that takes most of your hours. But remember: Just because you have a day job, that doesn’t mean you can’t find time to indulge your other dreams. In fact, it’s even more crucial for you to do so in this case.

The only way to merge your work with your primary passion is to explore all your passions more fully. Kyla Roma gives some great advice in her blog post “Focus on Your Passions and Change Your Life.”

Define Clear Goals As You’re In Alignment With Your Gifts

If you want to get clarity, leave money out of the equation for now. Your goals need to be valuable and full of purpose for you and for others, and less about financial wealth. The money will come later.

For example, maybe you love numbers, live and breathe mathematics, and find your life destiny through your work as an accountant.

If that’s the case, you can define your goal as “I’m helping 100 business owners a month focus on progressing their business without worrying about bureaucratic documents.”

This way, you provide value by removing unnecessary stress from your clients and helping them direct their energy toward growing their business. You’ll also have a numeric goal to focus on that’s not directly related to money or income: 100 business owners per month.

Write your goals, review them daily, and revise them when needed. So much has been said about writing your goals.

For now, I’m just reminding you to do the writing. Because even though everyone knows about it, almost nobody does it.

So why should you write? Writing helps you find clarity much faster. It makes your goals tangible. Writing intensifies the energy that exists within you and enables you to gain clarity about what’s really important to you.

It’s been scientifically proven that those who write their goals on a regular basis have 10 times (!!!) higher income than those who don’t. So it’s worth making it a habit.

I’m writing my goals once a week. I go through them every morning when I drink my decaf, including on weekends. If I don’t have time in the morning, I do it at night.

Not one day goes by that I don’t dedicate a few minutes to delve into my goals and the direction I’m going. I’m worth this time and so are you.

The Link Between Persistence And Clarity

Consistency will turn the pursuit of your goals into a subconscious habit.

If you find it easy to be persistent about what you do, then that will help you gain clarity whether it’s your true life path.

Usually, when we lose interest and move quickly to the next thing before the previous project has been completed, that’s a clear indication that this area is not your life purpose.

But, when you get up every morning, or come back home after an 8-9 hour shift and work on your mission, this is a clear sign that you are on the right path.

So go ahead and check-in with yourself – is there any area in your life that you find it easy to be consistent? Is there anything that makes you lose a sense of time when you delve into it?

Trust Your Gut

That’s right: Have faith in your intuition.

That being said, be careful here. Emotions can well up from negative past experiences or current states of mental anguish. Or they may simply come from a lack of self-control.

You shouldn’t act on everything you feel. This is an essential part of being an adult.

However, if you feel strongly about something AND feel quite confident about it—not confused or upset—then you can trust yourself.

If that feeling lasted for a while, has been clear, and wasn’t fluctuating by your mood, then the answer might be in that direction.

You can read more about this concept in Dr. Amy Johnson’s blog post “How to Find Clarity in the Midst of Confusion.”

Understand That You’re Responsible For Gaining Clarity

This can be a threatening concept because if you’re not moving anywhere, you have no one to blame but yourself.

Therefore, if you don’t believe in yourself and your abilities, it’s time to do some work. It’s never too late to change if you really want to.

Take enough time every day to embrace winning paradigms. You can listen to my meditation here, and in due time, it will help you reshape your patterns and find clarity in your life journey.

You can practice meditation, read books, have a journal, go to therapy—anything that helps you build up your self-belief muscles. As a consequence – you will get the clarity you need.

See, when you work on healing all those painful experiences, mainly from childhood, the layers of confusion and doubt will dissipate.

I know it from my own personal experience.

When I addressed the issues from my childhood and became more grounded and at peace, it was more and more clear to me what I needed to do with my life.

Without that strength and endurance, you won’t be able to sustain clarity over the long haul. Any clarity you do find will fade away when your fears and doubts take over the motivation to succeed.

The emotional baggage from childhood is like a background noise that interprets you from listening to your true inner voice. So deal with that first to gain clarity. Then, you’ll see how amazing you are and all the things you’re capable to achieve.

If You Had Billions of Dollars, Would You Still Do What You Do?

I asked myself the same question years ago when I just started Vortex-Success, and came to this conclusion: “HELL YEAH!” If I were a billionaire, I would still keep the Vortex-Success project running.

So go ahead and ask yourself this question, it will bring you closer to finding clarity. If your answer is yes, you’re on the right path.

Get Clarity By Focus On One Goal At a Time

Which goal is your top priority right now? It’s super tempting to want to fulfill many wishes at once. But trying that won’t only confuse you; it will also scatter your energy in different directions.

If you want to gain clarity, then you would need to manage your energy efficiently so it will bring you to where you want. And it’s only possible to do this by focusing on one thing at a time.

If you want to lose weight, finish your exams successfully, find the love of your life, get that job that will open doors in the future … These goals are admirable but overwhelming to work on all at once.

Don’t spread yourself too thin when you try to accomplish things or make changes. Not only will you not get those things you want, but you might become paralyzed and unable to act on them.

Conclusion

Finding clarity is the key to a more fulfilling life. A life that’s never stagnant but always moving forward in the right direction for you.

By following these tips, you’ll find yourself enjoying mental clarity on a regular basis. And soon enough, you’ll be living the life you’ve always dreamed of.
